Past Campaigns
Responsible Pet Guardianship
AIA works diligently to promote responsible care of dogs, cats and all pets. We encourage pet guardians to provide safe and loving homes for their animals, and to ensure that they receive proper veterinary care.
Humane Education
Humane education is a rapidly growing field. A growing body of scientific evidence and numerous anecdotal reports support our beliefs that humane education can produce more responsible, less violent citizens, enhance children’s interpersonal and analytical skills.
Advocating For Humane Care For Shelter Animals
Starting in the summer of 2011, Advancing the Interests of Animals devoted considerable time, effort, and resources by leading a project to construct sturdy metal coverings over the outdoor dog kennels of the Indio, California city shelter.
“It’s hotter than you think” signs
This is an early Desert Paws project. We placed these plastic signs in hundreds of stores around the Southern California Desert.
Opposing the Rodeo
We here at Advancing the Interests of Animals oppose the rodeo in all forms, including charreadas, or Mexican style rodeo. There is no doubt that animals are abused in the rodeo.
